Let’s be real. Leveling up weapons in Warzone feels like a second job. It is so tedious and so annoying. It is sad because there are so many weapons I would like to try, but I can’t because they are low level and going through the process of leveling them up is so tedious. Unless?

Caldera Clash

The mode that changed everything. Oh boy, the EXP in this game mode is through the roof. Actually, the EXP was so good that Activision nerfed it, but it is still OP and still the best way to level up guns. It suits every player, even if you are top tier and even if you are at rock bottom, you can still pick up contracts, right?

  1. Put your desired weapon and use the pointman perk. Pointman is a perk that gives you more EXP and cash for completed contracts. We are going to level up guns through contracts only. So it is necessary to put this perk in for extra EXP.
  2. You load into a game, and you run from bounty contract to another. You pick one, and you go straight to the next bounty contract. Don’t try to kill them, no need. You should be 100% focused on grabbing contracts. There is so much action on the pack, they will die, no worries. Make sure you run with the weapon you want to level up because if you are running with your secondary and your bounty dies, your secondary gets the EXP. So make sure to use only your weapon.

This method works because there is a contract multiplier. When you finish a contract, the next contract gives you more EXP than the previous. And then it’s just snowballing and snowballing.

Tips

  • Always run with the weapon you want to level.
  • Make sure you fill your team so your randoms can also get some contracts.
  • Pointman!
  • Once you find a contract and pick it up, run to the next one! As fast as you can.
  • Contracts reset at 7:30. So if at 9:00, there are no contracts left, go ahead, and fight, but be prepared for 7:30. I usually just suicide at 7:40 so I could fly to our spawn and start picking up contracts.
  • Use an EXP token if you have one.

Rebirth Plunder

Another great way to level up weapons. If you are a high skill player (You should be if you are reading my articles!), then this is for you. There is so much action going on, so many gun fights and with an exp token it is a blast through the levels. When I leveled up my Type 99, I got about 35-45 kills per game + contracts, so imagine how quickly I got it leveled up. This is for more advanced players as killing opponents is a big chunk of the EXP. But, you should play Rebirth Plunder anyways to improve your game mechanics so win win.

  1. I would say use the pointman perk as well, so you could do contracts in between fights. A good way to spice up some action.
  2. Land on hotspots. From my experience, the best places to drop are: top prison, biolabs, and stronghold.
  3. Kill as many enemies as you humanly can.

Tips

  • Land hot spots
  • Don’t fill team so you can respawn faster.
  • Pointman for contracts.
  • Use EXP Token

Multiplayer

Leveling up in multiplayer is one of the fastest methods. Call Of Duty is very chaotic, there are many engagments and fights. Which means, tons of EXP. But, it depends on your skill level. If you manage to get a lot of kills,  then good for you. If you are struggling, you won’t level up as fast. That’s why I love the first method so much. Your skill level doesn’t matter. You are going to fly through the roof of the EXP. Anyways just launch the multiplayer game, pick a small map, activate EXP token and you are set.

Tips

  • Play on small maps. More fights, more EXP.
Shipment or Shoot House for Modern Warfare.
Faceoff 6v6 (gamemode) \ Nuketown for Cold War.
Shipment or Das Haus for Vanguard.
  • EXP Token – Must.

What Doesn't Work

  • Doing Contracts In Normal Rebirth – I don’t know about you guys, but my lobbies are sweaty. There is no way in hell I can grab contracts and just fly from one contract to another. If I am playing normal rebirth, it is sweaty and the only thing I am focusing on is winning. If your lobbies are chill, you can try it. Same as Clash but on rebirth. Pick up contracts. Rinse and Reapet.
  • Caldera Plunder – It is so big, it is so boring. Even if you land the hot spots like Airfield. It is not even close to the rest of my practices. Very slow and boring. Skip.
  • Cold War Zombies – Many people swear that zombies are the best way to level up guns fast. I’ve tried it numerous times. Maybe I am missing something, but it is not as fast as the other methods. You can try to play Outbreak, but I didn’t find success here.

General Tips

  • Use The Surplus Attachment – All Vangaurd weapons have a perk called surplus, which gives you additional exp per kill. Self-explanatory, always use this if you are leveling a Vangaurd weapon.
  • EXP Token – Double EXP means half of the time. Always use EXP tokens. You get them for the battle pass. I have no idea where I’d be today without them.
  • Utilize Double EXP Weekends – Always make sure you are on the lookout for double EXP weekends. They can massively reduce your grind time. You can check the next EXP event on the Trello Board.
  • Pointman For Contracts – Get more EXP per contract. A must.

That's It

Now that you have the best methods for leveling up weapons, I want to see you with the best loadouts available. Saying that it is hard to level up guns is no longer a valid excuse.
I hope you found it useful, and I will see you guys next time!
