They nerfed sniper rifles. I know, sad day to play Warzone on. Kar and Swiss, basically the meta snipers, no longer hit 1 headshot and kill after 50m, so if you are standing at Biolabs in rebirth, you might hit someone that is standing on top of Decon and he won’t die. That’s how bad it is. They are seriously, no longer viable unless you are really aggressive with your sniper plays.
After the massive changes in Season 3, the only snipers who have 1-shot kill potential at any range are:
- Gorenko Anti Tank Rifle
- HDR
- 3 Line Rifle
- ZRG
- AX-50
The rest are 1 shot to the head until 50m-70m. Which is not a lot. Especiallyin Caldera.
But, our community is big and strong. And we found ways to still snipe and crush on Rebirth and Caldera. And today, I am gonna go over the best sniper loadouts for Season 3. Starting with
ZRG - The King
ZRG is the best sniper rifle in Warzone currently. Nothing comes close to it. Fire rate is great, ADS is quick, very stable when you are moving, and its bullet velocity is amazing. And of course, kills with 1 headshot to the head. The problem for me is, I feel like we are trying to mimic the Kar-98 and Swiss feel but with the 1 shot headshot potential. But, it is not the same. Maybe I need some time to get used to the new meta. Don’t get me wrong, you can still wreck havoc with this weapon. I just miss the old days. Anyways, this is the best sniper in the game as of now.
- Muzzle – Wrapped Suppressor / Sound Mederator
- Barrel – 43.9″ Combat Recon
- Laser – SWAT 5mw Laser Sight
- Magazine – 5 Rnd
- Rear Grip – Serpent Wrap
If you want to replicate the feeling of Kar and Swiss, this is the sniper for you.
Type 99 - 1 Shot To The Chest
Yes, you read that correctly. One shot to the chest and it’s over. Even in Caldera. Now, it is a Vanguard sniper so you can expect pretty high ADS time, pretty serious sway, and low stability. Well, it’s not that bad and you can work around that. Even the ADS is not that bad. But, seriously, hitting 1 shot chest shot and downing a player is such a good feeling. You must try it. It is my favorite sniper at the moment. I know I said ZRG is better, because, it is just better. But I play with the Type 99 because I am having so much fun with it. Remember, it hits 1 shot chestshot and headshot under 44m. After that, hitting a headshot will not kill.
- Muzzle – MX Silencer
- Barrel – Shiraishi 712mm Sniper
- Optic – SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x (pick anything you like, remember you should use it for 44m and below)
- Stock – Removed Stock
- Underbarrel – Heacvy Foregrip
- Magazine – 8mm Klauser 5 Round Mags
- Ammunition – Lengthened
- Rear Grip – Fabric Grip
- Perk 1 – Vital
- Perk 2 – On-Hand
Anything Else?
Well, not so much. I don’t want to just fill this page with many loadouts. I just want to give you straight the best loadouts avaiable. Anything else is just not it. So yeah, there is the HDR, the AX-50, and so on. But, they are just, worse. I don’t see a reason for putting them on this list.
