So we had a huge surprise update that changed some of the old meta weapons. I am here to update you on the buffs and nerfs so we can rock the strongest weapons available. Without further ado, let’s get started.
Long Range
XM4 - The King
AK – 47 is no longer a long range king! We have a new one.
XM4 is 100% the new long range king. Its close range damage got reduced by a bit while buffing its range. Great damage, Recoil is pretty easy. Let’s get the loadout.

STG 44 - The New Meta?
STG just got a massive buff. Raven launched this weapon straight into the Meta category. Easy recoil, damage is good. Half of my lobbies now run XM4 or STG.

Automaton - Zero Recoil Build
You don’t want any recoil? This is the build for you. A really solid AR with no recoil, but it has a higher TTK than the rest of the meta AR weapons. But you can hit your shots very easily so it is worth it.

Honorable Mentions
- C58 – Hits like a truck, but its recoil is a bit too much for me. Build is exactly the same as the XM4
- AK-47 It is not the king, but definitely not the worst. It is still one of the best, but, just not the best anymore. XM4 gang let’s go. Build is same as XM4.
- Vargo – Recoil is very low and damage is good. Really solid AR but I feel the XM4 is just better. Build is the same as XM4.
- Grau – A classic that will remain a classic. No recoil, pretty solid. Feels a bit weak to me, but maybe I’ve been running AK-47 and XM4 too much. Build is:
Muzzle – Mono Supressor
Barrel – Tempus 26.4 Archangel
Optic – VLK 3.0x Optic or go with Tac laser and play without optic as the default iron sights are just so clean!
Underbarrel – Commando Foregrip
Magazine – 60/50 Round Mages - Fara – Fara is a very solid AR, kills really fast and recoil is pretty easy, but it is a pretty slow AR and I feel like XM4 is just better. Build is the same as XM4.
SMG's
Owen Gun - The King
Owen Gun is still the king. A beast with TTK lower than my self worth. If you are sweating, this is the gun for you.

- Optic – Nydar Model 47 / Slate Reflector / M38 Slate 2.5x Custom
- Stock – Removed Stock (if Recoil too much change to Gawain H4 Folding. Way more controllable at the sacrifice of speed.)

- Magazine – 7.62 Gorenko 72 Round Drum
- Ammunition – Lengthend
- Rear Grip – Polymer Grip / Stippled Grip
- Perk 1 – Acrobatic
- Perk 2 – Quick
Some players play with no barrel and rock the last 60 round mags. TTK is about 470ms and it is pretty solid, BUT it shots very slow and it is very unforgiving. I did not like that build but feel free to try it.

Welgun - The New Meta
Welgun was always a beast. But now, that they nerfed the owen gun and the MP40, welgun can shine. And oh boy, it shines. Very easy weapon that hits like a truck.
- Muzzle – Recoil Booster

- Optic – Slate Reflector
- Stock – Gawain Skeletal / Removed Stock (Go for removed stock if you want that extra speed)
- Underbarrel – M1941 Hand Stop
- Magazine – 7.62 Gorenko 40 Round Mags
- Ammunition – Lengthened
- Rear Grip – Fabric Grip / Polymer Grip (Go for polymer if you are rocking removed stock)
- Perk 1 – Acrobatic
- Perk 2 – Quick
MP40 - You Can't Nerf It
No matter how much they try, the mp40 is just a beast. Same loadout as before. Still slaps.
- Muzzle – Recoil Booster
- Barrel – VDD 189mm Short
- Optic – Slate Reflector / Karusnick IS01M
- Stock – Krausnick 33M Folding
- Underbarrel – M1941 Hand Stop
- Magazine – 7.62 Gorenko 45 Round Mags

- Perk 1 – Brace

Lapa - Still Slapa
This gun slaps. Hits hard, easy recoil. Just a very solid all around SMG. My favorite.

- Stock – Raider Stock
- Magazine – STANAG 50 Rnd
Honorable Mentions
- Type 100 – Slaps, but hard to control. I used to put a stock that increases Recoil Control and roll with that. Still slaps, but these meta guns are just better. Click Here For Build.
- PPSH-41 – Slaps. Hip fire though, so it’s very situational. Click Here For Build.
- OTS – A really solid weapon. I recommend if you feel comfortable with it. But still, VG SMG’s are just better. Click Here For Build.
Snipers
So after the sniper nerfs, we were left with 1 sniper only. The ZRG. Everything else is just not it. If you want the absolute meta. It is this weapon. ADS is quick, stable and its bullet vlocity is on point. You won’t feel like you are missing much.
ZRG
- Muzzle – Sound Mederator / Wrapped Suppressor
- Barrel – 43.9″ Combat Recon
- Laser – SWAT 5mw Laser Sight
- Magazine – 5 Rnd
- Rear Grip – Serpent Wrap
Kar and Swiss are no longer meta. You can only one shot to the head under 50m. Which is pretty close. Only use them if you really hate the ZRG.
