Not all gaming setups are created equal. Some gaming setups have an upper leg compared to other ones. This creates an unfair playground. There is nothing you can do about this. I believe that if you can’t win them, you should join them.

That’s why I believe having good high-quality peripherals is a must when trying to reach the top 1%. So, today, I will cover my particular gaming setup and recommendation for each equipment piece.

The Logitech G Pro. My favorite equipment piece. I bought this mouse one year ago and am still enthusiastic about it. If you’ve read some of my posts, you’ve probably been bombarded with links for this mouse. And for a good reason.

This is the most used mouse by pro players. (Maybe 2nd to the Superlight). This mouse has it all. Great shape and design, flawless sensor and wireless technology, and perfect weight at around 80 grams. Do I need to add something?

Check out my review at Logitech G Pro Wireless After 1 Year: Still Worth It In 2022?.

My recommendation would totally be to buy this mouse or get a Logitech G Pro X Superlight, which is basically the same mouse, 20g lighter. You can’t go wrong with either of these.

At this time, I am not looking for an upgrade.

My recommendation would be totally this mouse, or if you prefer something lighter, my recommendation would be the Superlight, which is basically the same mouse, 20g lighter.

Oh boy, the HyperX Alloy Origins Core is something else. After switching from the famous Razer Blackwidow, this was a nice change of pace. It is the highest quality keyboard I have ever seen.

Seriously, it feels so well made. You have to touch it to understand. But in terms of performance, it is perfect. Again, it is one of the most used keyboards by esports players. (I always get my recommendations from them).

In terms of comfort, perfect. I already got three other friends to buy this keyboard, and it still did not turn anyone down. Suppose you are looking for a gaming keyboard. You have to put this one on your list!

At This time, I am not looking for an upgrade.

My recommendation would be totally this keyboard!

Another classic. I know how to choose my gear, ain’t I? Anyways, HyperX Cloud Alpha S is the most popular gaming headset by esports players. (Maybe 2nd to the HyperX Cloud Alpha II, but the Alpha is the upgrade).

Great sound; footsteps are clear. Very comfortable, came with two different types of pads. And these are the best headset I have ever had. It is one of the best gaming headsets on the market, period.

The only downside is the microphone. I feel like it could be better, but it is loud and clear, and people can hear me perfectly, but we did expect a little better from HyperX in terms of quality.

At this time, I am not looking for an upgrade.

My recommendation would be totally this headset!

The Asus VG248QE. This is a true classic. I bought this monitor seven years ago, and it is still a beast. I remember when I was the first among my friends to get a 144hz monitor, and oh boy, the envy…

This is a great monitor, very fast, fluid, and responsive. But in terms of colors and image quality, it does not hold up. First of all, it is a TN panel. It has poor viewing angles, and its colors are pretty mediocre. But, overall, I am pretty satisfied with my purchase; it served me well in the last seven years.

Looking at prosettings.net, it is still the 3rd most used gaming monitor by esports players. We can’t get enough of this monitor. It was 0ne of the best gaming monitors in the mid-2010s. Crazy how time flies.

At this time, I am definitely looking for an upgrade.

My recommendation would be to get BenQ Zowie XL2456K.

After reading so much about this monitor (the BenQ Zowie XL2456K) and watching so many videos, my friend decided to get this beast. Naturally, I immediately rushed to his house to take a look. And oh boy, it does not disappoint.

This monitor is the reason 360hz is not worth it. It has some crazy DyAc+ technology that makes the monitor responsive and fluid AF. Highly recommended for anyone who strives to be at the top of the ladder.

Work monitor, really nothing special about the Samsung S24H850. I’ve got it for free from work. Just a decent 24-inch 2K monitor that is great to work on.

Although I have to admit, I’ve played the Witcher 3 on this monitor, and damn, it delivers. The sharpness, and the colors, it is fantastic. (Although everything looks impressive compared to my Asus VG248QE).

At this time, I am not looking for an upgrade.

I don’t have a recommendation since it is a work monitor that I do not care so much about. But I approved it, so feel free to check it out.

Gaming desk? Really? I thought we used Ikea for our gaming setups. Well, getting the double drawer Ikea battle station was stale for me in 2022. I’ve wanted something else. Something special.

So I got this one. The Gamdias DAEDALUS M1. Well, what can I say? It delivers. It is basically a big mousepad (It has a mousepad the size of the desk, so everything is a mousepad essentially). Looks pretty neat, has LEDs, and is very good-looking.

All in all, nothing extraordinary, but it gets the job done, is lovely, and has a whole desk-size mousepad.

At this time, I am not looking for an upgrade.

My recommendation would be totally this gaming desk!

Last but not least, my gaming chair. The Noblechairs Epic. This is the reason I opened this website. All of my achievements are because of my gaming chair. It was proven that a good gaming chair increases your gaming abilities by up to 420%.

But on a serious note. A comfortable, good-looking chair. Hold on for a bit on the looks of this chair. Just look at it. It looks fabulous. It puts me in the mind of crushing some plebs in matchmaking.

Really satisfied with my purchase. A great gaming chair that is actually comfy and good for your posture. Not just a gimmick with LED’s on the side.

At this time, I am not looking for an upgrade.

My recommendation would be totally this gaming chair or Secretlab Omega, which is not available in my country but is a beast of a chair. If you have even more money to spare, get a Herman Miller Embody. The king of the kings. The best chair of all time.
